Celebration at St. Nicholas’ English Kindergarten!

金巴倫英文幼稚園的學生和老師們一起度過了一個美好的感恩節慶祝活動！小朋友們穿上了與感恩節相關的節日服裝，如小火雞和小南瓜等，讓整個慶祝活動都充滿了歡樂。此外，聖公會麥理浩夫人中心的長者義工也來到學校，與我們的學生一起參加活動，製作毛巾花！他們互相合作、互相欣賞，創作出一朵朵美麗的毛巾花，這不僅增進了彼此的了解和連結，還讓整個活動充滿了溫馨和愉快的氣氛。

What a fantastic Thanksgiving we had! A big thank you to all the children for dressing up in their festive outfits – it was great to see so many little turkeys!

We were thrilled to have some wonderful elderly volunteers from H.K.S.K.H. Lady MacLehose Centre join us to make towel flowers with our students! It was such a joy to see different generations working together and sharing stories. It truly highlights the importance of connection and learning from one another!

Also, a huge shoutout to everyone who made beautiful Thanksgiving wreaths. It was heartwarming to hear what you are thankful for!

U3學生參觀了綠化教育資源中心，他們親身觀察了不同種類的植物，學會了如何善用環境資源及環境保護的重要性。他們透過活動，對環境保護建立尊重和負責任的態度，同時提高對綠化及環保方面的認識。

Our U3 children had a fantastic day at the Green Education and Resource Centre in Kowloon Park! They learned how to be resourceful, respectful, and responsible towards our environment.

我們在早前與學生進行了火警演習，希望讓學生們認識消防安全的重要性。這次演習不僅增強了學生和教職員的安全意識，也讓大家更加了解應對緊急情況的必要步驟，學習如何保持冷靜，並在安全情況下逃生。學生們都十分留心聆聽老師的指引及講解，順利完成演習。

Today, we conducted a fire drill to reinforce the importance of fire safety among our students and staff. Learning how to stay safe in emergency situations is crucial, and we are committed to ensuring that everyone knows what to do. U3班的學生們一起參觀了陽光笑容小樂園，渡過了一個充滿樂趣及教育意義的下午。在陽光笑容小樂園裡，學生們參與了多項互動有趣的活動，學習了口腔健康的重要性。透過趣味遊戲和生動的展示，他們能夠了解如何正確刷牙、選擇健康的食物以及保持牙齒潔白的技巧。感謝陽光笑容小樂園的工作人員，他們的專業知識和耐心指導啟發了U3學生們的學習興趣，也讓他們能夠在輕鬆愉快的遊戲中獲得了寶貴的知識。

We had a wonderful outing with our U3 children to Brighter Smiles Playland, and it was an amazing experience! The children engaged in fun and interactive activities that taught them the importance of taking care of their teeth. We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to all the staff at Brighter Smiles Playland for their warm welcome and friendly support.

「童心賀國慶75周年」活動

為慶祝國慶75周年，並加強幼兒對國家的認同感及對中華文化的興趣，我們榮幸地參加了由協力創新基金會及九龍城民政事務處主辦的「童心賀國慶75周年」活動。在活動中，港區的全國代表鄺美雲小姐帶領75間幼稚園的學生代表，齊聲唱出歌曲《我們的家》，本校的學生代表U3B余奕言及U3C梁靖恩也參與其中，一同用歌聲祝賀國慶。大會亦頒發了感謝狀予本校，以表揚在活動中的努力與參與。

我們很高興地宣布，本校與廣州南沙區鳳凰花幼兒園教育集團在鳳凰花藍色海灣幼兒園舉行了隆重的締結姊妹簽約儀式！

9月14日校長與學校行政一行五人乘高鐵到廣州南沙區，與鳳凰花藍色海灣幼兒園締結為姊妹學校，這將為我們的學生帶來更多交流與學習的機會。希望通過這樣合作，加強兩校之間的交流學習，不但能讓我們的教師團隊獲得學習機會，也能讓孩子享受到更加豐富多彩的學習環境。我們期待未來的合作，共同推動教育的發展，為學生創造更多學習機會，讓他們在多元文化中成長！

在開放日當天，許多爸爸媽媽帶著他們的小朋友來到金巴倫參觀！我們很高興能為即將入學的孩子們舉辦英文故事體驗和各式各樣的感官遊戲攤位。此外，我們還舉行了入學課程簡介會，並邀請了舊生家長分享他們的教育經驗和選校心得，為家長們提供了寶貴的建議。

雖然當天天氣不穩，下著滂沱大雨，但這並沒有影響家長們前來學校與我們的校長和老師交流的熱情。感謝所有參加開放日的家長們！我們期待再次與您們見面！

It was truly amazing to meet all the young children and their parents! We were thrilled to share more about the welcoming community and enriching Montessori programs here at St. Nicholas’.

The day included an admissions info-session detailing our curriculum by our students and faculty and featuring alumni parents who shared their experiences, providing valuable insights into our community. A heartfelt thank you to our current student and parent volunteers who helped make the day a success with their enthusiasm and support!

With a variety of sensory game booths, engaging storytelling sessions, and arts and crafts, there was something for everyone to enjoy. It was an incredible day filled with laughter and connection, proving that not even the bad weather could dampen our spirits. Thank you to everyone who joined us in celebrating our wonderful school! We can’t wait to welcome you all back!

本校舉行了一年一度的和平儀式來慶祝國際和平日！老師與學生們都穿上了白色衣服，象徵著和平，相聚一起學習和平的重要性和意義。

除此之外，麥理浩夫人長者中心的義工亦參與其中，認識和平教育，並與學生們一起為和平白鴿填上顏色。

最榮幸的是，和平學校的代表Mr. Tee於當天親臨學校，為我們頒發和平學校的證書，這項認可表揚了我們學校積極推動和平教育，讓孩子們在一個充滿歡樂及和諧的校園環境學習！

We held a beautiful Peace Ceremony to commemorate Peace Day, and what a fabulous day it was! Everyone dressed in white, symbolizing peace, as we came together to learn about its significance and importance in our lives.

A highlight of the day was the visit from our wonderful elderly volunteers, who fostered meaningful intergenerational relationships with our children. This connection enriched our celebration, reminding us all of the value of compassion and understanding across generations.

We also received a certificate from the Peace School, awarded by Mr. Tee, Community Engagement Co-Chair and Management Committee Member of Glocal Peace Centre. This recognition highlights our school’s commitment to positive peace education and the actions we’ve taken towards this important goal.

It was truly an amazing day filled with joy, learning, and a shared commitment to promoting peace in our community. Thank you to everyone who participated and made this event so special!
