A Montessori education offers our children opportunities to develop their potential and promote a love of lifelong learning.

• Every child is valued as a unique individual. Montessori education understands that children learn in various ways and accommodates all learning styles. Teachers guide students to advance through the curriculum as he/she is ready.
• Students in a Montessori program develop Concentration, Order, Coordination, and Independence (COCI). All Montessori materials and daily routines foster the child’s emerging sense of self-discipline.
• A Montessori education promotes auto-education. Students learn to become active seekers of knowledge and teachers create a learning environment in which students have the freedom and tools to discover answers to their own questions.
• All Montessori materials are designed with control of error, allowing self-correction and self-assessment. Students are able to acknowledge, correct and learn from their mistakes without assistance from an adult. They also recognize that mistakes are a wonderful opportunity to learn. As they mature, they will not be afraid to make mistakes and would be able to take calculated risks.
• The Montessori philosophy addresses the sensitive periods and the absorbent mind of a child.
• Through spontaneous repetition, children will development and exercise his/her will, which eventually leads to normalization of the child.
• We encourage positive discipline throughout our school. Internal satisfaction motivates the child to learn and drives his/her curiosity and interest in learning that is sustainable over a lifetime. Self-reflection enables the child to recognize, reconcile and resolve mistakes made.
• Montessori students enjoy freedom but with limits. Together with the teachers, students learn to set and work within parameters, which allow them to decide what their focus of learning will be.
