St. Nicholas’ students enjoy a wide variety of extracurricular activities, ranging from painting to the dramatic arts. The program gives parents peace of mind to know their children have such fun and educational options during after-school care. The range of activities is a great complement to the regular school-day program. These activities offer students the opportunity to pursue their passions and explore new talents and interests, while challenging them to broaden their horizons. We engage the children in creative, physical or scientific experiences in a structured but fun and relaxed environment. The activities challenge and educate our students on different levels and allow them to cultivate collaborative and leadership skills. Everything fits together to enhance our quality education.
Happy Bee is one of the key activities in our After School Program. This uniform group is part of the Hong Kong Girl Guides Association, but is offered to both girls and boys from aged 4 to 6 (i.e. K2 and K3 students). As part of the Happy Bee programme, children develop self-discipline and learn to solve problems together as a team through group games, arts and craft activities and outings every week. Throughout the year, they also participate in many public performances and charity services, such as flag-selling and raffle tickets sale, in which they can build their confidence and empathy for those in need. Parents are also encouraged to participate in the activities and support their children as they go through the Happy Bee programme.
