Kowloon City District Presentation Ceremony

Great news! Our school has just received the “Certificate of Merit” from The Hong Kong Girl Guides Association!  This recognizes our team’s effort in supporting the Girl Guides and raising great global citizens.
Our Principal personally attended the Kowloon City District Presentation Ceremony to accept the award. Thank you for the recognition. We’ll keep up the great work!
好高興同大家分享一個喜訊！本校啱啱榮獲香港女童軍總會頒發 「功績獎狀」，肯定咗學校團隊一直以來對女童軍運動嘅支持，一齊培育卓越嘅世界公民！我地嘅校長日前更親自出席咗「香港女童軍九龍城分會周年大會暨區頒獎典禮」代表學校領獎！多謝大會嘅肯定，未來我哋會繼續努力！

Career Sharing Activity

Career Sharing Activity for this year has kicked off! Thank you to the parent of Wong Cheuk Yin from N1B for coming to our school to introduce the daily work and responsibilities of the Customs and Excise Department to the children! The students were able to get a very concrete understanding of the professional traits of customs officers, and everyone was highly engaged and learned so much! We look forward to welcoming parents from other classes in the near future to share more about different industries!
今年嘅職業分享活動開始啦！非常多謝 N1B班王卓言嘅家長嚟到學校，同小朋友介紹海關嘅日常工作同職責！學生們可以好具體咁了解海關人員嘅專業特點，大家都聽得好投入、獲益良多！期待其他班別嘅家長陸繼嚟到學校，同小朋友分享更多唔同嘅行各業！

 

**A Warm Welcome to Our Visitors from Kazakhstan!**

Last week, we were delighted to welcome a group of passionate **early childhood educators from Kazakhstan** to our school!
During their visit, our guests had the opportunity to tour our campus, observe classroom activities, and share meaningful discussions with our teachers about early childhood and primary education practices. It was an inspiring cultural and professional exchange — filled with new ideas, mutual learning, and warm connections.
We are grateful for the chance to connect with educators from around the world who share our passion for nurturing young minds through creative and holistic learning experiences.
Thank you to our visitors from Kazakhstan for spending the day with us — we hope you enjoyed your time and took home wonderful memories from Hong Kong!

 

**Art Adventure at the Affordable Art Fair!**

Our students had an amazing time this Saturday joining the **Art Loop Creative Art Workshop** and **Children’s Art Tour** at the **Affordable Art Fair** held at the **Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre**!

As the first art school in Hong Kong to pioneer specialized **Children’s Art Tours**, Art Loop has spent over a decade transforming museum galleries into vibrant, living classrooms. Since 2015, their tours have been thoughtfully designed to be **interactive**, **educational**, and **age-appropriate**, helping children explore the artistic world in a fun and inspiring way.

Prior to the tour, our students and their families took part in the **Creative Art Workshop** — turning inspiration into beautiful DIY wearable art pieces. From choosing colors to crafting beaded bracelets, everyone created their own special keepsake filled with creativity and memories.

A big thank you to Art Loop for offering such a wonderful opportunity for our young artists to learn, explore, and create together!

Lingnan University Alumni Association (Hong Kong) Primary School Open Day

Last Saturday, our Vice Principal Chiu attended the Open Day of our partnership school, Lingnan University Alumni Association (Hong Kong) Primary School.

This year’s theme, “Exploring Zheng He’s Voyages from Sham Shui Po”, was incredibly creative, brilliantly linking history with our local community! Each room was decorated with various activities, transforming historical culture into fun and engaging games. It was truly a fantastic example of learning through play!

上星期六，趙副校長出席了我地友好學校嶺南大學香港同學會小學嘅開放日。今年嘅主題係「從深水埗看鄭和下西洋」，將歷史同我哋社區連結埋一齊，非常有創意！現場亦非常熱鬧，每個課室都見到老師同學生們嘅心思，精心佈置成唔同嘅活動，將嘅歷史文化變成好玩嘅趣味遊戲! 十分多謝嶺南大學香港同學會小學嘅邀請!期待未來有更多機會互相交流學習！

Po Leung Kuk Lam Man Chan English Primary School’s annual Sports Day

Our Principal and Head Teachers visited the Kai Tak Youth Sports Ground to attend Po Leung Kuk Lam Man Chan English Primary School’s annual Sports Day. The energy from the kids was amazing!
The highlight of the day was definitely seeing our St. Nicholas’ alumni again. No matter how much time passes, they still feel like family. We loved catching up and taking photos together! We hope you all continue to shine in primary school—keep up the great work!
我哋校長同主任去到啟德青年運動場，出席保良局林文燦英文小學嘅一年一度運動會。現場氣氛熱鬧，小朋友個個都好有活力！
不過最驚喜嘅收穫，莫過於遇到一班金巴倫嘅舊生。雖然大家畢咗業一段時間，但一見面嗰份親切感依然冇變。大家聚埋一齊影相、傾吓近況，真係好難得！ 希望大家喺小學都繼續發光發亮！加油呀！

**Happy Mother’s Day!**

Our little artists have been hard at work creating something *big* and *beautiful* — a giant Mother’s Day card filled with color, creativity, and lots of love!
Using their hands, paintbrushes, and imagination, our students worked together to express just how much they appreciate their amazing moms. Each handprint and stroke of paint is a heartfelt “thank you” for all the love, care, and hugs that mothers give every day.
Wishing all our wonderful moms a joyful and love-filled Mother’s Day!
