2026 “Home-School Cooperation Shows Care” Carnival

The 2026 “Home-School Cooperation Shows Care” Carnival was grandly held on May 2nd at Rhenish Church Pang Hok Ko Memorial College. As the flagship annual event of the Federation of Parent-Teacher Associations of Kowloon City District, this year’s theme was “Galloping Towards a Smart Future”.  The event aimed to bring schools, teachers, parents, and the community together through fun activities to create a loving, equal, and inclusive environment.
There was so much to do that day, from various booth games  to fantastic stage performances!  Students from our school were even invited to perform!  They put on a K-pop dance and a traditional folk dance. Seeing them in their beautiful costumes, dancing with such passion and energy, everyone cheered and clapped along!
2026年度「家校合作顯關愛」嘉年華於五月二日喺禮賢會彭學高紀念中學盛大舉行，呢個係九龍城區家長教師會聯會一年一度嘅大型活動，今年嘅主題係「駿馬馳騁 智創未來」，活動最主要希望大家玩得開心之餘，仲可以加強學校、老師、家長同社區之間嘅連繫，一齊營造一個有愛、平等又共融嘅環境。
當日活動內容豐富，除咗有好多唔同類型嘅攤位遊戲玩之外，仲有好多表演睇。我哋學校嘅小朋友亦獲邀參與表演，分別表演咗K-pop舞《Golden》同埋民族舞《採蘑菇的小姑娘》。見到佢哋著住好靚嘅表演服，喺台上跳得咁投入、咁有活力，大家都落力拍手支持！

What is Earth Day at St Nicholas? Celebrated every April 22, Earth Day is a global event dedicated to raising awareness about environmental protection and inspiring action to safeguard our planet for future generations.
At St Nicholas, we embrace Earth Day to teach our little ones about sustainability through fun, play-based activities—instilling values like recycling, clean air, and caring for nature from an early age using Montessori-inspired methods.
Today, our fabulous U3 kids celebrated with hands-on fun!
Kite Flying Fun
The children painted colorful kites from recycled materials, then flew them high while discussing how we protect our air and skies. Such joy in the breeze!
Recycled Crocodile Craft
Our little artists transformed milk cartons and egg cartons into amazing crocodiles, turning “waste” into wildlife wonders that highlight recycling magic!

L2A & L2A1 celebrated Earth Day by creating a collaborative ocean scene inspired by “Our Ocean, Our Responsibility,” showing how even small hands can help protect our planet, while L2B added their bright “Save Earth” artwork to remind us that simple choices—like reducing plastic and choosing reusable bags—can make a meaningful difference for the world we share.

Our N1 learners embraced Earth Day with hands-on exploration and discovery!

Our N1 learners embraced Earth Day with hands-on exploration and discovery! They enjoyed a special story time outdoors before setting off on a nature walk, where they watered plants and observed the world around them— even spotting a snail along the way! These simple acts of caring for living things helped them understand how even small actions make a difference for our planet.
Back in class, the children explored the Montessori continent boxes filled with flags, pictures, and props such as food from different countries. This gave them a chance to see the beauty and diversity of our earth’s cultures, reminding us that protecting the planet is a shared responsibility across nations. Together, they learned that Earth Day is about appreciating nature, celebrating diversity, and caring for the world we all call home.

World Book Day at St Nicholas’ English Kindergarten was filled with imagination, laughter, and a whole lot of storytelling magic!
From our Toddlers to U3 classes, children stepped into the world of books in the most delightful ways—exploring stories not just by listening, but by living them.
Characters Came to Life
Our classrooms transformed into storybook scenes as children arrived dressed as their favourite characters. Each costume brought a story with it, sparking conversations, confidence, and creativity.
Stories Beyond the Page
Through interactive storytelling, role play, and guided discussions, children explored new vocabulary, emotions, and ideas—building early literacy skills in a meaningful and joyful way.
Moments like these remind us that reading is not just a skill—it’s a doorway to creativity, empathy, and lifelong learning.

Our Toddler students celebrated Earth Day through fun and meaningful sensory activities! They enjoyed sea animal bathing, which helped introduce kindness and care for animals, created beautiful earth paper mosaics to explore our planet through art, and took part in dinosaur fossil digging, sparking curiosity about nature and the world around them. It was a wonderful multi-day journey filled with learning, discovery, and Earth-friendly fun!

我哋Toddler班嘅小朋友透過有趣又有意義嘅感官活動嚟慶祝世界地球日！
佢哋嘗試咗幫海洋生物沖涼，從中學習點樣愛護同關懷動物。又創作咗靚靚嘅地球馬賽克，用藝術嚟探索我哋嘅星球。仲參加咗恐龍化石挖掘，啟發佢哋對大自然同埋世界嘅好奇心。活動充滿咗學習同啟發，亦帶畀小朋友好多環保嘅樂趣！

KTS 90th Anniversary Open Day!

This past Saturday, we joined the 90th Anniversary Open Day at Kowloon Tong School (Primary Section)!
The venue was beautifully decorated with a retro theme, and there were so many different activities and fantastic student performances. It was also wonderful to run into several alumni, we had a great time chatting and snapping photos together to relive old school memories.

星期六，我地亦參與咗九龍塘學校（小學部）90 周年校慶開放日！
現場嘅以懷舊主題做佈置，當中有好多唔同嘅體驗活動，仲有精彩嘅學生表演。同時，好開心遇到幾位舊生，一齊合照傾吓偈，重溫校園回憶。

Evangel College Primary 1 Admission Talk

This past Saturday, our partner school, Evangel College, hosted a primary one admission talk specially for our parents.
We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Chief Principal Lo for the detailed presentation. From the school’s educational philosophy to the unique features of the curriculum, everything was explained so clearly, giving parents a much deeper understanding of the school’s development. Besides the seminar, parents also had the chance to tour the campus and experience the learning environment firsthand.
Our sincere gratitude goes to Evangel College for their arrangements, as well as to every parent who took the time to attend. We hope this session provided valuable insights and gave you more confidence in navigating the primary school admission journey!
喺啱啱過去嘅星期六，我哋嘅友好學校播道書院特別為家長們舉辦咗一場小一簡介會。特別要多謝盧校長嘅詳細分享，由教學理念到課程特色都講得非常清楚，令家長們可以更全面咁了解學校嘅發展。除咗聽講座，大家仲一齊參觀咗校舍，親身感受校園嘅學習環境同氣氛！衷心感謝播道書院嘅周到安排，亦都多謝每一位抽空出席嘅家長。希望今次活動可以幫到大家喺升小路上更有把握！

A Special Delivery from L2!

Our L2 students have been learning how to write letters in their English class recently, and they’ve each written a very special letter to their moms and dads!
To let the children experience the real process of mailing a letter, our teachers took them to a post box to send their letters in person. Everyone was so excited as they dropped their envelopes into the box! They can’t wait for you to see the letters they sent home. Mom and Dad, remember to check your mailbox when you get home to see if your little one’s special delivery has arrived!
L2班嘅小朋友最近喺英文堂學寫信，仲親手寫咗封信俾爸爸媽媽呀！
為咗等大家體驗真實嘅寄信過程，老師帶埋同學仔一齊行去郵筒，親手將呢份心意寄出去。見到小朋友將封信放入郵筒嗰陣，個個都好期待爸爸媽媽喺屋企信箱收到信嗰份驚喜！
爸爸媽媽們，返到屋企記得留意下信箱，睇下收到小朋友嘅心意未？

Joyful Fruit & Veg Month

To support the ” Joyful Fruit & Veg Month” organized by the Department of Health and the Education Bureau, our school recently hosted a super fun “Veggie & Fruit Party”!
On that day, all students enjoyed fresh fruits and vegetables together. Besides boosting everyone’s immunity, our big goal was to help the kids build healthy eating habits and create a wellness-focused culture right here on campus. Thank you to all our parents for being so thoughtful and preparing such a colorful variety of snacks!  It was wonderful to see the kids so excited to show their treats to their classmates. Everyone had a blast eating healthy, it was such a happy day!
為咗響應衞生署同教育局舉辦嘅「開心『蔬果』月」，我哋學校最近就喺校園舉辦咗一場「蔬果派對」！
當日我哋全校學生齊齊喺學校食蔬果，除咗想幫大家增強抵抗力之外，最重要係希望同學仔可以養成健康飲食嘅好習慣，一齊建立個健康校園。
活動當日，多謝各位家長悉心幫小朋友準備咗各式各樣、色彩繽紛嘅蔬果。見到啲小朋友好興奮咁同同學介紹自己帶咗咩水果，大家食得又開心又健康，好開心呀！
