Our curious U3 children delved into the captivating world of Jackson Pollock, the renowned artist known for his unique painting style! They had a marvelous time exploring and experimenting with paint, just like Pollock did. Flinging colors and letting their creativity flow, they not only had fun but also tried to see different objects, scenes, and feelings in their art. It was a joyous experience of self-expression, imagination, and discovering new perspectives. Keep embracing your artistic visions, little creators!
The school holidays have started, and our children have been having an absolute blast these past couple of days at St. Nicholas’ English Kindergarten! We had a heartwarming visit from the elderly, who joined us in making beautiful Christmas decorations. The intergenerational bonding was truly special. We also celebrated with a festive classroom party, where we shared delicious food and enjoyed each other’s company. To top it all off, we had a Christmas fun fair in the garden, filled with merry games and joyful laughter. The holiday spirit is in full swing!
We were incredibly fortunate to have students from CCC Kei Wai Primary School (Kowloon Tong) visit our Kindergarten for a delightful storytelling and game session with our students! A heartfelt thank you to the Principal and teachers for arranging this special visit and to the students and English ambassadors from CCC Kei Wai Primary School (Kowloon Tong)for their outstanding performance. They captivated our students with their storytelling skills, engaging games and how kind and loving they all were. We look forward to future collaborations.
金巴倫英文幼稚園合唱團 · 小鱒魚兒童合唱團獲邀請於2023年12月9日下午參加【新城電台 @灣仔「HarbourChill 海濱休閒站」聖誕嘉年華】，我校合唱團演出4首歌曲：自己的事自己做、青蛙不吃水、Skinnamarink、I’m a Little Snowman及We wish you a Merry Christmas，小朋友們表演出色，這次演出見證小朋友們的進步，對他們是一個難得和難忘的經驗。
Our creative L2 students had a festive and engaging Christmas STEM lesson at St. Nicholas’ English Kindergarten! They had a blast building Christmas trees using cups, combining their imagination and problem-solving skills. Not only did they have lots of fun, but they also developed their fine motor skills in the process. It’s wonderful to see our little learners embracing the holiday spirit while honing their abilities.
Our L2 students embarked on a captivating journey through Hong Kong’s rich history and culture at the Hong Kong Heritage Museum! With great excitement, they explored the exhibits, gaining a deeper understanding of their city’s roots. A special thank you to our knowledgeable tour guide, who not only shared fascinating stories but also introduced traditional games from the past. It was an enlightening and enjoyable experience for all!
‘Tis the season of joy and merriment at St. Nicholas’ English Kindergarten! We are collaborating with Minisport HK to offer Saturday classes to our incoming students. Minisport HK will come play various sports with our children in our beautiful outdoor playground. We believe young children at this age require a lot of outdoor play in order to develop their gross motor skills. Gross motor skills affect well-being and give children opportunities to socialize in play. Confidence and coordination in gross motor skills are essential for children in developing their fine motor skills, which are key to lots of skills such as writing in the future. Minisport HK is a revolutionary program designed to ignite the passion for sport in your child’s heart from an early age. Combining expert coaching in English, interactive activities, and a nurturing environment, Minisport exists to expose children to 6 sports over the course of the academic year: hockey, basketball, rugby, tennis, athletics & football. All children will be awarded a certificate at the end of the course.
