本校的暑期課程圓滿結束了!
Our school’s summer courses have concluded successfully!
為期三星期的暑期課程已經順利完成，學生們都體驗了一個充實多彩的學習生活! 在暑期課程中，除了鞏固課堂學習的知識，老師加入了STEAM科學遊戲，包括浮沉實驗、自製吹泡泡棒及魔力沙等。孩子們都非常投入，並期待實驗結果。除此之外，學生們在老師的指導下，發揮無限創意，運用各種材料，動手創作了不同的美術作品。更重要的是，他們與同學們在歡樂的暑期活動中，共度了一個愉快的夏日時光。
最後，我們還頒發了暑期課程證書給學生們，以鼓勵他們在暑假期間，依然努力學習和投入活動的出色表現！
我們相信學生們已做好準備，迎接新學期的來臨！
The three-week summer course has been successfully completed, and the students have experienced a fulfilling and colorful learning life! In the summer course, in addition to consolidating the knowledge learned in the classroom, the teacher added STEAM science games, including floating and sinking experiments, homemade bubble wands and Magic sand etc. The children were very engaged and looking forward to the results of the experiment. In addition, under the guidance of teachers, students exerted their unlimited creativity and used various materials to create different art works.
More importantly, they spent a pleasant summer time with their classmates in fun summer activities. Finally, we also issued summer course certificates to students to encourage them to study hard and engage in activities during the summer vacation.
We believe that students are ready for the new semester!
新雅出版社與著名兒童文學作家嚴吳嬋霞女士於香港書展舉行和平教育講座。嚴吳嬋霞女士分享了她撰寫和平教育繪本《小青蛙愛和平》的創作心得，目標是透過小青蛙的故事，引導孩子們明白和平的意義，並學習做一個和平小使者。除此之外，歌唱家吳玉芯女士亦於活動中帶領孩子們一起唱和平歌曲。
活動當天，很榮幸本校的老師們被邀請於講座中，向到場的家長們分享如何在學校及日常生活中實踐和平教育。講座結束後，現場還提供了多樣的和平主題體驗活動，包括和平托盤和和平桌子等，讓孩子們能夠親身感受和平，從遊戲中體驗到好情緒。
Sun Ya Publications (HK) Ltd and Famous Children’s Literature Author Mrs Irene Yim Ng Seen-ha held a peace education lecture at the Hong Kong Book Fair. Mrs. Yim shared her creative insights on writing the peace education picture book “Little Frog Loves Peace” to guide children to understand the meaning of peace through the story of the little frog and learn to be little ambassadors of peace. In addition, singer Ms Ng Yuk-shum Sandra also led the children in singing peace songs during the event.
On the day of the event, we were honoured that our school’s teacher was invited to the lecture to share with the parents how to put peace education into practice in school and daily life. After the lecture, various peace-themed experiential activities were also on-site, including peace trays and tables, allowing the children to experience peace and good emotions through play.
暑假到來了！香港女童軍總會與民政及青年事務局以及家庭議會聯合舉辦了一個名為愛家人齊分享—「開心廚」暑期活動。本校的小蜜蜂隊員及家長們都踴躍參與，一同製作了美味可口的吞拿魚酥皮盒。
這個活動旨在加強親子關係，讓家長和孩子們共同享受廚房時光，增進彼此的了解和感情。參與的小蜜蜂隊員們不僅學會了烹飪技能，還能與家人一起分工合作，並把製成品帶回家與家人一起品嚐。 家長參與活動後都表示，能夠和孩子一起度過了愉快的親子夏日時光，為這個暑假增添歡樂！
Happy Bee “Happy Kitchen” Parent-Child Summer Course
The summer vacation is here! The Hong Kong Girl Guides Association, the Home Affairs Department, and the Family Council co-organized a “Love Family, Share Together – Happy Kitchen” activity for the summer. Members of our Happy Bee and their parents enthusiastically participated, jointly making delicious tuna pie puff pastry.
This activity strengthened parent-child relationships, allowing parents and children to enjoy time in the kitchen together and deepen mutual understanding and feelings. The participating Happy Bee members not only learned cooking skills but were also able to collaborate with their families, spending a pleasant parent-child summer vacation and adding joy to this summer!
九龍城區家長教師會聯會、教育局九龍城區學校發展組、九龍地域校長聯會，以及聖公會蔡功譜中學一起合辦「第22屆九龍城區學校優秀家長嘉許禮 」。活動中邀請到梁愛詩博士、陳美齡博士、香港城市大學學務長鍾樹鴻教授、署理九龍城民政專員胡皓文、香港警務處九龍城區署理指揮官梁國榮、教育局九龍城區高級學校發展主任王鈺棋等擔任主禮嘉賓。
在本次評選中，有169位區內中小學及幼稚園的優秀家長獲獎，包括本校的蔡泳妍、張智堯及簡頌恩家長。他們積極參與學校活動，主動與學校溝通，共同為孩子們營創健康快樂的學習環境，家長和學校密切合作，充分發揮各自優勢，值得高度肯定！
The 22nd Kowloon City District School Outstanding Parent Commendation Ceremony
Federation of Parent-Teacher Associations: Kowloon City District, the Kowloon City District School Development Section of the Education Bureau, the Kowloon Regional Primary School Heads Association, and Sheng Kung Hui Tsoi Kung Po Secondary School co-organized the “22nd Kowloon City District School Outstanding Parent Commendation Ceremony”. The ceremony invited Dr Elsie Leung Oi-sie, Dr Agnes Chan Mei Ling, the City University of Hong Kong Dean of Students Professor Henry Chung Shu-hung, the Acting Kowloon City District Officer Mr Wu Ho Man, Kenneth, the Acting Kowloon City District Commander of the Hong Kong Police Force Mr Leung Kwok Wing, and the Senior School Development Officer of the Kowloon City District Education Bureau Ms Wong Yuk Ki to officiate as guests of honour.
These parents, including our own Choy Wing Yin Valerie, Cheung Chi Yiu, and Khan Isabel Da Luz, have not only actively participated in school activities and communicated with the school, but also worked tirelessly to create a healthy and happy learning environment for our children. Their efforts are truly commendable and greatly appreciated.
Our Summer Camp has begun with two exciting programs – one with Minisport for active fun, and our own featuring fun art, STEM, English, and Chinese learning! Children are enjoying a blend of sports skills, creative projects, science exploration, and language enrichment. From promoting physical health to fostering creativity, critical thinking, and language skills, our Summer Camp offers a diverse and enriching experience for young learners. Let’s continue to nurture their love for learning and growth in a fun and engaging way!
本校老師與學生一起進行蒙特梭利的摺衣服活動！Toddler Class 的學生正在學習配對襪子，N1至U3的學生則學習摺衣服，各級的同學都用心地幫忙整理衣物，學習如何將衣物有序地摺疊。他們透過活動學會照顧自己，建立自主性，同時提升了手眼協調，加強了他們的集中力和自信心！
學生們一起在校園裡體驗了蒙特梭利的掃地活動，各班的同學都拿著小掃把，專注地清理著學校每一個角落。透過掃地活動，讓學生們都能夠學會了清潔環境的重要性，絕對是建立自律和責任感的好機會！同時也鼓勵他們要有互相合作的團隊精神，讓他們從小學會關心環境、尊重他人！
Our St. Nicholas’ Talent Show was a showcase of incredible talent, and we couldn’t be prouder of all our children who took part! It’s truly amazing to see the talent and creativity our children possess. Let’s continue to nurture and encourage their talents to shine bright!
聖公會麥理浩夫人中心的長者義工，早前來到學校為本校學生的祖父母舉辦了「祖輩工作坊」。祖父母們於工作坊中，學習了一些縫紉技巧，以及教授小朋友的方法。完成工作坊後，祖父母們更走進課室，親身把自己學到的縫紉技巧，分享給我們的U3同學們，一起動手製作多款縫紉作品。長輩義工們都非常細心指導小朋友完成作品，小朋友們亦能夠耐心地聆聽長輩的教導。在互相交流和創作的過程中，能夠看到了長輩們與小朋友之間跨代合作的成果！
The elderly volunteers from the H.K.S.K.H. Lady MacLehose Centre came to the school and organized a “Grandparent’s Workshop” for the students’ grandparents. In the workshop, grandparents learnt sewing skills and teaching methods for children. After completing the workshop, grandparents went into the classrooms and shared what they had learnt with our U3 students, and made a variety of sewing products together. The elderly volunteers were very patient in guiding the children to complete the products, and the children were also able to listen to the elders’ instructions patiently. In the process of mutual exchange and creation, we could see the results of cross-generational collaboration between the elders and the children!
Our kindergarten’s Water Fun Day was an absolute success! Aligned with our annual theme centred around the UNESCO Sustainable Development Goals, this year, we chose “Life Below Water” as our focus. The children had an incredible time engaging in various water activities, including playful water games, exciting water pistol battles, and even attempting their fishing skills. Not only did it offer a refreshing escape from the scorching heat, but it also served as an educational opportunity to instill in our children the significance of water for our planet.
