We had a magical celebration of World Book Day on April 23rd, as children and teachers brought their favorite books to life by dressing as their beloved book characters! It was a day of joy, creativity, and literary adventures, making it a fun-filled and memorable experience for all. A heartfelt thank you to everyone for their enthusiastic participation, showcasing the love and magic of storytelling. At St. Nicholas’, we strongly believe in nurturing a love for reading in our children, as it opens doors to imagination, knowledge, and endless possibilities. Through the joy of books and characters, we inspire a lifelong love for reading and learning.
On April 22nd, we celebrated Earth Day at our Kindergarten with a focus on environmental awareness and sustainability. Our students learned about the importance of protecting our Earth and were taught how to repurpose waste products into useful objects, promoting recycling and creativity. As an institution, we are committed to saving our planet, and instilling this value in our students is a top priority. By educating and empowering the next generation to care for the environment, we are fostering a sense of responsibility and stewardship towards our precious Earth. Together, we can make a positive impact and create a more sustainable future for all.

水果是健康均衡的飲食不可或缺的一部分，而為了促進健康生活和飲食習慣，本校響應由衞生署聯同教育局舉辦的2024開心「果」月活動，於4月17日舉行了「水果日」，讓全校學生在校內一起進食水果，鼓勵學生多吃水果增强免疫力，並傳達健康飲食及多吃水果的訊息，為學生締造健康的校園文化。當天，很多家長都悉心為小朋友預備了不同的水果回校，小朋友們亦高興地向同學展示自己帶來的水果﹗
We were honoured to invite Principal Ng from our partnership school, Lingnan University Alumni (Hong Kong) Primary School, to conduct a Primary One Introduction Seminar for our parents on Saturday, 20th April 2024. It was enjoyable learning all about your school. We particularly enjoyed the campus tour, where we had the opportunity to observe a more hands-on approach to teaching. We also met our alumnus, Yuki (Assistant Executive Officer). Many thanks to Principal Ng for such an informative presentation to our parents.
為了讓學生認識傳統中國的體育文化，普通話老師於中華文化課堂中，向學生講解古代的運動，並讓他們親身體驗，如: 蹴鞠、投壺、打馬球等民間遊戲及玩意。通過這些活動，學生能夠互動和合作，同時加深對中國文化及歷史的了解。
We were delighted to welcome Principal Lam from our partnership school, Kowloon True Light School (Primary Section), for a Primary One Introduction Seminar on Saturday, April 13, 2024. At our Parent Career Sharing Workshop, Javier’s mum from U3B, who works at the Hong Kong Customs and Excise Department, shared her experiences with our children, inspiring them with insights into her role. Thank you for the fun and enlightening session!
本校於上週邀請了機電工程署的人員到校為學生進行「機電安全教育」講座。機電安全大使透過簡報及生動有趣的動畫，講解日常生活中使用電器、升降機、扶手電梯和機動遊戲等機電設備的注意事項及安全守則，並教導學生節約能源的重要性，讓他們從小培養安全的意識及節約能源的好習慣。
