Month: May 2023
It was a pleasure for our Principal, Mrs Choi, to be invited to the Alliance Primary School, Whampoa 25th Anniversary Open Day & Celebration of Student Achievement. It was a fantastic event filled with excitement and love. It was made extra special by meeting our St. Nicholas’ alumni and seeing how much they’ve grown and achieved in their short time at Alliance Primary School, Whampoa.

We would like to say a big thank you to our Partnership School, Evangel College, for hosting their Primary One Admission Seminar (6th of May). It was an insightful experience, we especially enjoyed the campus tour, where we had the opportunity to see their more hands on approach to teaching. On Saturday (13th of May), Lam Man Chan will be holding their Primary One Admission Seminar on our campus. Make sure to sign up if you would like to attend!

We were excited to be invited to join our partnership school Po Leung Kuk Lam Man Chan English Primary School’s Sports Day. It was a very hot day, but all the children were exceptional! Our Principal, Mrs. Choi, and Vice-Principal, Ms. Fung, had a fantastic time visiting Lam Man Chan. It was an excellent opportunity to see how children can be motivated through sports to keep an active and healthy lifestyle. It was also lovely to catch up with our alumni!

We celebrated Fruit Day on the 26th of April! Students brought their own fruit from home and our teachers shared the benefits of fruit and vegetables with our children. A healthy body is very important, especially for children, and that starts with putting the right food into our body. Thank you everyone for getting involved and making it a memorable day!

A quick shout out to all the parents that came to our school to share their career with our children. You all put on some amazing, fun and interactive workshops that inspired the children. Thank you.

One of the most important lessons we can teach our children is how to keep the Earth happy That’s what we did this Earth Day! Our teachers planned lots of fun and exciting activities! Our N1 children recycled materials from home , our L2 children made some beautiful bird feeders
, and our U3 children designed the garden to increase biodiversity . It is our hope that our children now have a deeper understanding of what we can do to help our world.

At St. Nicholas’ we take huge pride in the artistic talent of our students! Art is not just a great way to improve a child’s creativity, it also boosts a child’s fine motor skills, confidence and organization. On top of that, art is just loads of fun! So far this term we’ve made Ring Boxes, Rockets, Caterpillars and much more! Look at the pictures below for a little insight ![]()
